摘要
In this paper, a compression technique is presented which effectively reduces the system sizes of flexible bodies for multibody simulations with an adjustable loss in accuracy of the results. The starting point of the outlined method is the Craig-Bampton model reduction technique. The idea of the method is based on the projection of the flexible body modes onto a smaller subspace. All operations are performed on basis of an existing Craig-Bampton representation of a flexible subsystem.
