摘要
The paper focuses on the Energy Management Strategy (EMS) for the optimum use of the power generated by an isolated plant composed of Photovoltaic modules, wind turbines, a battery bank and diesel generators, which supplies a variable non-controllable load. The proposed EMS aims to cover the load demand mainly using the renewable energy sources generation, then the battery bank and finally the diesel generators. The battery bank is to save the energy excess generated by the renewable sources, which will be used later when it is needed. The EMS performance is tested by simulation and the results are shown using an application developed using MATLAB software, which provides easiness and a tailor-made customization for the user.
