Utility of indium-111-antimyosin scintigraphy for diagnosis of myocardial damage in systemic sclerosis

The diagnosis of myocardial disease related to systemic sclerosis is often difficult, but it is clinically relevant since the occurrence of a specific ventricular dysfunction is of poor prognosis. This article reports a case of systemic sclerosis with a subacute episode of myocardial disease assessed by In-111-antimyosin antibody, a specific marker of the necrotic myocardial fiber.
