Approximate analysis of quality-of-service in integrated network nodes

摘要
A new approach to the determination of approximate values of the indicators of the quality-of-service of heterogenous packets in integrated network nodes that employs ATM technologies is proposed. The approach is based on principles of the theory of phase aggregation of stochastic systems. Approximate formulas are obtained for determining these indicators. Results of numerical experiments that demonstrate that these approximate formulas exhibit a sufficiently high degree of precision are presented.
