摘要：
This paper deals with the use of a software tool to support senior manufacturing managers in their Make or Buy decisions in the frame of Manufacturing strategy. The development of this software is described, from the very first specifications elaborated within ESPRIT IMPACS' WP2 "Business Planning" to an object-oriented and rule-based PC/WINDOWS software application recently developed.
