摘要
The objective of this work was to approach literacy in the early years in times of pandemic, discussing its importance and the challenges faced by teachers and students within this context. The methodology used was bibliographic research, using the Google Scholar platform, with the use of descriptors "Literacy and literacy of reading", "Challenges of literacy in times of pandemic", in national journals. In this study, it was possible to report the main challenges faced by the literacy teachers and the students who became remotely literate. After all, did teachers succeed in making their students literate in times of a pandemic? Literacy in Brazil has always been a challenge, so the presentation of difficulties of students and teachers can guide the development of public policies to mitigate inequalities. Thus, continued teacher training is fundamental, including the manipulation of digital resources applied to literacy.
