摘要：

This paper deals with a special class of Persian verbs, called complex verbs (CVs). The paper can be divided into two parts. The first part discusses the Persian verbal system, and is mainly concerned with the syntactic and semantic properties of Persian complex verbs or light verb constructions (LVCs). In the second part of the paper we have discussed the possible effect of these syntactic and semantic properties on Persian verb hierarchy and Persian WordNet.
