摘要
The Monte Carlo fission matrix acceleration methods aim at accelerating the convergence of the fission source in inactive cycles of Monte Carlo criticality calculations. In practice, however, these methods may corrupt the fission source, or slow down its convergence. These phenomena have not been completely understood so far. We demonstrate the convergence problems, and explain their reasons. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
