摘要
This paper aims to demonstrate a new concept for the street lighting area in a Smart Grid environment. It presents a developed electronic device, which allows control and Telemanagement functions of the street lighting system, through a Mesh ZigBee network Besides, it presents the achieved results with the deployment of a pilot project where high-pressure sodium lamps were replaced by LED lamps equipped with the developed device.
