A Novel TDOA-Based Localization Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks

摘要
This paper introduces a new TDOA-based localization algorithm (TBL) for the large-scale, high-density wireless sensor networks which are aimed at real-time surveillance and unexpected incidents management. In practice, the well-organized algorithm can be separated into three processes involving measuring distance, computing position as well as circulating localization. The effect of characteristic parameters associated with TBL on localization performance is evaluated via the simulations, and is also compared with the Euclidean algorithm. The obtained results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
