摘要：

iMente is an information service covering the digital press, developed in Spain and offering access to the contents of online publications including mass communications media, press releases, blogs and official bulletins. This article positions iMente within the context of press information products. It describes the service's origin, evolution, technology, contents and user types and analyses its principal features for document services, such as press clippings, alerts, searches and headline publication.
