摘要
This paper presents ea detailed study of dynamics of a SDOF nonlinear vibration system with displacement feedback. At first, formulae of computing critical time delay values, for which the equilibrium of system may change its stability,. are presented according to different. combinations of system. parameters and feedback gain. Then,, to, show the effect of delayed feedback and nonlinearity on the system dynamics, the mechanisms of which have not been revealed completely by now, large numerical results are given out. It can be seen that with the delay varying from zero to infinity, the nontrivial solution of system will-undergo the state of periodic, quasi-periodic and finally chaos, which is the classical route to lead to chaos.
