This section of Current Opinion in Immunology is entirely devoted to reviews discussing recent advances in the field of allergy and hypersensitivity. The Editorial overview below will summarize these reviews, point to remaining questions and controversies, and discuss other recent and relevant work. It will also discuss the potential of new therapeutic strategies in allergic diseases.
