Application of AHP in the Construction of Index System for Job Performance Evaluation of Primary Coaches in Shanghai

摘要
Job performance of coaches is determined by complicated factors. Pinpointing the major factor among the huge amount of factors is a powerful means to improve their job performance. This paper adopts AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process), makes a quantitative and qualitative analysis and determines the weight of each index in the index framework for coaches' job performance. Research results show that task performance is the most important index. Job result is the major job output of coaches in the cycle of performance evaluation in secondary indices. In tertiary indices, providing sportsmen, follow-up of these sportsmen, team building, coach's capacity of obtaining useful information and coach receiving training are important tasks for most of coaches that required by organizations to cultivate backup talents for primary competitive sports.
