International space law

International Space Law includes COPUOS, which is the current body in charge of international space law, and the five international treaties that COPUOS has created. However, inherent flaws with the current space laws exist; the fact that outer space is officially undefined, and that the outer space treaties are obsolete to current technology - especially when dealing with intellectual property rights, space cooperation, remote sensing, space debris, liability and threat of an asteroid. It is recommended that the creation of an official definition of ''Outer Space," a reevaluation of current International Treaties and the creation of a body to govern and control outer space be implemented.
