Development of Tourist Cities in China: Problems and Solutions - Based on the Analysis of the Practice of Building Shanghai World Expo Park

This article dissects the problems occurring during the development of tourist cities in China in terms of economy, society, ecological environment and history. Based on the practice of building Shanghai World Expo Park, the research proposes the ideology, direction and measures of the tourist cities' development and arrives at the solution to problems concerning tourist cities' development, which are to focus on the tourists' psychological and biological needs and promote the systematic development of tourist cities through the remolding of urban landscape, the interaction between the rural area and urban area, diverse integration and the prosperity and innovation of urban economy.
