摘要
A time-frequency analysis of speech signal is presented in this paper. This analysis is based essentially on the masking phenomena and psychoacoustic characteristics of the auditory system. A four stages model is used to simulate the outer and middle ear filtering, the spectral behaviour of the cochlea by a Gammachirp filterbank and the time domain processing of the auditory system. A spectrographic representation is finally given as an auditory image which will be transmitted to the brain.
