Decision support systems for ill-structured domains in deregulated power systems' planning: A methodology space view

摘要
This paper presents a software and knowledge engineering methodology view to the, development process of hybrid loosely-coupled and components-based decision support systems (DSS), which incorporate fuzzy knowledge based system (FKBS) components. A short overview of the some existing methodologies and standards and their deficiencies when applied to such a hybrid DSS project is provided. The paper also includes a brief discussion of a concept used in an exploratory R&D development. of a DSS prototype for supporting planners in the outage planning process of a deregulated developing electric power system (EPS), as well as the experienced need for standardized notations and methodologies to promote the development of cross-corporate DSS and knowledge management tools.
