摘要：

Based on the principle that mitigating pipeline risk should start with two aspects-failure probability and failure congsequence, the process of maitenanceand and emergency response of natural gas pipeline are framed. The main steps involved in this process are analyzed, including threat origins, threat types, threat degree, maintenance measures, emergency response and works of late stage etc. This process will provide scientific guidance for the decision-making of natural gas pipeline maintenance, emergency response and management and so on.
