摘要：
In view of the numerous discriminatory acts against Afro-Brazilian religions today, the Judiciary has been increasingly provoked to settle this demand. Thus, the present work sought to analyze the judicialization of intolerance against Afro-Brazilian religions, having as an empirical case the analysis of the Edir Macedo case judged by the Regional Court of the 1st Region, which brings up a conflict between constitutional principles, which originated due to the publication and circulation of his book called "Orixas, caboclos and guides: Gods or demons?"
