摘要
This study aimed to design a training program in conflict resolution and family mediation. The purpose of the program was to evaluate the relationship between the training received by the parents of the Sagrada Familia Manises School and San Jose de la Montana Cheste School, skills in conflict resolution and family mediation, and decreased aggression in their children. The design used for conducting the research was a pretest-intervention-posttest design with a control group. The sample included 69 subjects aged 31 to 47, 20 experimental and 49 control. To measure the change in family communication, two instruments were applied before and after training. The program consisted of a monthly intervention session lasting two hours during a school year. Results of the nonparametric tests suggested a positive impact of the intervention, the experimental significantly increased their communication skills and aggression in children decreased.
