ICT management in the state of Sao Paulo-Brazil

This article is about how the Government of Sao Paulo State - Brazil, has conducted the Electronic Government Program. The text looks at the Sao Paulo State administration's 10-year long process to adopt its E-government program. It describes the main tools implemented to monitor and evaluate the whole process and which institutional arrangements were established to coordinate the activities; specially the ones that foresee integrated and coordinated actions. It is also shown the dynamics that are in place and the main actors in this new scenario of E-Government.
