摘要
The family estate of the Musin-Pushkins was owned by the famous statesman and an archeographer Aleksey Ivanovich Musin-Pushkin. After his death in 1817 the estate was divided into two parts (Ilovna and Borisogleb) and was inherited by his sons. The heirs of the old Count were able to keep the patrimonial property and make it economically profitable. The Musin-Pushkins overcame the crisis and established a market -oriented estate after the reforms. The main part of the work is devoted to the activity of the last oWner. of Borisogleb Aleksey Alekseevich Musin-Pushkin, who owned Borisogleb in 1889-1917. The study uses statistics that allows compare the income of the Musin-Pushkin,s with that of other landowners and evaluate the output of the estate in the context of agricultural development in the Russian Empire.
