摘要
In this paper, a kind of Ku-band high performance frequency synthesizer based on the theory of comb spectrum generator [1] and DDS [2] technology has been presented. This high performance frequency synthesizer mainly has the following characteristics: 1) broadband, its operating frequency bandwidth covers 14-20GHz; 2)Low spurious, spurious value <= -80dBc at more than 90 percent frequency points, while spurious value <= -78dBc at other frequency points; 3)Low phase noise, the minimum phase noise value <= -102dBc/Hz@1kHz; 3)Fast frequency sweep, the frequency hopping time is as low as 248ns; 4)Small volume, the size is just about 140x105x48mm.
