Analysis on Factors Impacting the Floating of Migrant Workers among Urban Cities-Based on Actual Researches Done on Migrant Workers in Shenyang

Majority of migrant workers in China usually are in a flowing state that circulating to-and-fro among cities, or among cities and villages. What are the factors that impact the flows of migrant workers? This dissertation makes regression analysis through the frequencies of flows of migrant workers made among cities, the outcome indicates that main factors impacting the multiple flows of migrant workers include gender, educational level, land area that they owned in the hometown village, length of time outstation and whether they posses any handicraft skill or technical skill, etc., further, the fluidity rate of migrants who came from the non-Northeastern region is higher than the migrants who came from the Northeastern region.
