摘要
Intensive systems of poultry production generate large amounts of feces containing pollutant substances. If these wastes are not used in an adequate form, they provoke enormous pollution problems. In this review, the definitions of poultry manure and poultry litter, as well as the availability of these residues in Cuba and worldwide will be dealt with. Their effects on the environment, their nutritive value, besides the fundamental forms of recycling of these nutrients will be dealt with in a form. that the environmental pollution may be decreased.
