摘要：
This paper examines some of the factors related to sexual and reproductive health and its effects on adolescents and young married girls, on the basis of a comparative study conducted among adolescents and young married girls in Mumbai. The major factors considered here include socioeconomic conditions, demographic aspects like menarche and marriage-related issues, nutrition, anthropometry, prenatal, natal and postnatal care, and various customs prevailing in the community.
