摘要
A computer program is developed in this paper using Mat lab to investigate the nonlinear behavior of concrete columns with high strength concrete core (HSCC columns) that are subjected to axial compression and bending. In this model, reasonable stress-strain relationships for steel bars and concrete have been adopted and the numerical results agree well with the tested results. Based on the computer program, some load-displacement curves are calculated in terms of different parameters, and the influences of axial compression ratio, longitudinal reinforcement ratio, core concrete strength, core concrete area ratio, lateral confinement eigenvalue, outer concrete strength and shear span ratio on the seismic behavior are analyzed. The results indicate that the axial compression ratio, core concrete area ratio and shear span ratio have significant effect on the seismic behavior of HSCC columns.
