摘要
High precision position control of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is demanded by various industrial applications including advanced manufacturing and robotics. This paper presents the design and analysis of a simple reduced order load torque observer for implementation of feed-forward control in order to achieve advanced level of precision in position control. This paper studies through simulations, the performance of the observer under various load conditions and system parameter variations and also their impact on control precision. Experimental results have been presented to validate the achievement of high precision in position control.
