摘要
Dewaxing of crude oil is a fundamental step in oil refineries which significantly influences the economy of the country. Multitude of problems gets associated due to presence of wax in the crude oil at a temperature below the cloud point which is the basic technological problem in almost all oil industries. In this work, the thermodynamic changes in Indian crude oil sample are investigated in presence of ultrasonic wave with the use of an optimum blend of mixture like MEK and Nitrobenzene. The result shows that the release of wax from the crude oil increases with the increase of blended mixture in presence of the ultrasonic wave. (C) 2018 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
