摘要
A state-based fault diagnosis approach for discrete-event systems is presented. In our approach, a system fault is modeled as reaching a certain faulty state, and fault diagnosis depends on the result of state estimation. First, the framework of state-based fault diagnosis is introduced. Then, the notion of state-based diagnosability is defined. In particular, a polynomial-time algorithm for state-based diagnosability verification and an online diagnoser are presented.
