On high absorptivity selective coatings of solar collectors

摘要
In practical system, it is found that collector efficient is generally more sensitive to absorptivity a than to emittance epsilon. Hence high absorptivity solar selective coatings is essential in the efficient use of solar collectors. Some of the fundamentals in making such high absorptivity selective coatings are considered, and one type of selective paints which has much lower cost than vacuum evaporation type coatings has been proposed and experimentally studied in this paper.
