History of oil production in the northern Russia

The paper addresses the early days of the domestic oil industry. This strong interest to the past and previous experience arise, rather than a mere interest in the history, from a desire to get a better vision of the idea of, and a call for changes - to identify advantages that can be taken of the past as well as moral and ethical criteria that could be applied at present and for future industry development.
