CHOOSING THE OPTIMAL BELT WIDTH OF A BELT CONVEYOR

摘要
A method is presented for choosing the belt width of a standard belt conveyor with three-roller supports of a working branch according to their specified productivity and selected speed. The graphs of the performance of belt conveyors on the belt width and the speed of its movement for different bulk density of the cargo are given. It allows choosing the optimal belt width without performing calculations and improving the economic performance of the transport process.
