摘要
Social events of the present are conflict, unpredictability and turbulence. New challenges, in particular, the fight against COVID-19, make adjustments to the solution of a number of issues on the innovative development of society with the use of informatization and individualization of the needs of the population. Now humanity is at the stage of cardinal improvements due to the latest technological revolution, which is associated with changes at the global level. The need for the formation of preventive and adaptive mechanisms for ensuring public health, taking into account the challenges of the time, is put on the agenda. It is well known that human health in a holistic sense is a state of complete social, physical and mental well-being. Indicators for assessing the state of health are not only the mortality rate, the number of years of life with disabilities, but also life expectancy, the level of immunization of the population, access to safe living and nutrition conditions, and the like. One of the important components for assessing the state of health is the study of trends in the incidence and prevalence of diseases among the population. © 2021, Rossiiskaya Akademiya Nauk, Institut Istorii (Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of General Hist).
