摘要
The public cloud services have been around for a decade and its ubiquitous availability characteristic makes it a great choice for data storage for Internet users. However, all the benefits come at the expense of Privacy and Money. Right from the enterprises to the general end user, all of them surrender their valuable information to the cloud vendors, just to take advantage of handful of features. The idea of SMART ATTACHED CENTRALIZED STORAGE(SACS), whose innate ability to work in every given environment (enterprise and home/personal) with resilient security makes it a lone solution in a cloud ecosystem. Its architecture, based on Virtualization, is capable of handling many hits, and additionally traffic is streamlined by smarter orchestration of the virtual objects. Considering the storage drives as a single point of failure, the file replication and synchronization mechanism runs over multiple physical and logical drives and helps to maintain data integrity. The system is extended towards home automations and the Internet of Things which therefore helps in keeping all forms of personal entities secure under one roof. The ease of multiple configurations of different forms of SACS system makes the setup cost effective, flexible and efficient.
