摘要
Micro-grid is one of the developing way for generating the power using the micro-sources. The optimal energy management of microgrid is necessary to overcome the environmental aspects such as weather conditions. To maintain the micro-grid effective by reducing the losses and cost of generating power. Losses are reduced at distribution level and operational cost is reduced by using optimization techniques. In this paper, the mathematical model is developed, and particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to solve the problem. Therefore, proposed work to optimize the operating cost of micro-grid by using the hourly forecast output power from different micro sources. Sources are renewable sources such as wind, solar etc. and their performance is illustrated.
