摘要
Cyclic strain controlled multiple step tests in air have been performed on cylindrical specimens of cast gamma-based alloy Ti-48Al-2Nb-2Cr-0.82B at. % with nearly lamellar microstructure of gamma and alpha(2) phases at 23 and 750 degrees C. The objective was to analyze the internal and effective cyclic stress components which were derived from the hysteresis loops analyzed according to the statistical theory of hysteresis loop. Dislocation structures in cyclically strained specimens at room temperature were observed using TEM. Cyclic response at both temperatures was compared and discussed in relation to changes of internal and effective stress components and dislocation modes in gamma phase observed and referred in the literature.
