摘要
Moving towards sustainable development requires understanding urban ecosystem services (UES). This work applies hierarchical and multi-criteria tradeoffs analysis to evaluate and explain the exchange relationships between UES: water, air and climate produced and supported by the urban socio-ecological system in five major metropolitan areas of the Megalopolis of the Metropolitan Area of the Valley of Mexico (MZMVM) during 2010-2016. The preference for UES supply is revealed over UES regulation (temporarily, spatially or interpersonally). Therefore, the importance of supporting decision-making in the formulation of public policies is highlighted.
