摘要
The structural and elastic properties of transition metal aluminates spinel MAl2O4 (M=Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu) have been investigated as a function of applied pressure, based on the density functional theory (DFT). Bulk modulus, elastic constants are in good agreement with available experimental data. The results indicate that there exists linear dependence of bulk modulus, elastic constants and quadratic dependence of the structural parameters against applied pressure.
