摘要
This paper presents the design and development of new tools for an innovative e-learning platform, with implications and analysis from human computer interaction (HCI) point of view. The goal of tools is to improve the educational process by helping professors to form a correct mental model of each leaner's performance. The main functions offered by the developed tools are evaluation of level of understanding of course material by a student and analysis of difficulty level of questions proposed by a professor for an exam. An important part of pre-education process is text analysis and learning concepts' extraction from uploaded learning content. The developed tools will provide an instructor with the ability to control difficulty level of test and exam questions and perform corresponding functions - to add, delete, or modify test/exam questions.
