Analysis of theses and dissertations on aesthetic education in continuing training Programs for early education teachers

摘要
This article aimed to analyze 2014-2019 theses and dissertations on Aesthetic Education in continuing training programs for early education teachers found in the Theses and Dissertations database at the platform of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Brazilian acronym, Capes) and in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (Brazilian acronym, BDTD). The theoretical and methodological framework included Historical and Cultural Psychology and Historical and Critical Pedagogy, since they provide subsidies to reflect on, plan and organize pedagogical praxis. Six research productions, namely, one thesis and five dissertations, met the aims of this article. Tables and graphs in which relevant information on current research may be retrieved were prepared for analysis. Content Analysis, provided by Bardin (2016), was also employed to create categories for analysis. Results show scanty scientific productions and the need for further study and research on the theme.
