摘要：
The requirements of the European Union concerning the gas sector are very challenging for new member states. In order to adopt Polish gas sector to these requirements, number of crucial challenges are needed: increasing the efficiency of gas use, making its use, production and transfer more sustainable and liberalizing the market. The paper focus is on the last one of abovementioned tasks. Making the market more open is the key condition to implement Third Party Access rule and in the long-term to gain some competitiveness.
