摘要
Modern expert system(ES) or knowledge-based systems have changed radically in the last few years. They require additional functionalities like handling vast amount of data, evolving dynamically, connecting with other information systems, which necessitates new development approaches. The situation can be improved by using new dynamic "all-object" environments, and by simultaneously building expert system models or generators. In this paper, we show how we used the general mechanisms of Artificial Intelligence(AI) dynamic representation enviromnent(MOSS) for building an ES generator, OOESDT(Object-Oriented Expert System Development Tool). Then, an example of an "Expert System for Allocating Lines and Telephone Numbers" is presented as a testimony of the efficiency of OOESDT. Form this work, it can be concluded that an effective way of improving the applicability of expert systems is obtained by combining object-oriented programming methods, database techniques, and artificial intelligence representational techniques.
