摘要
The introduction of a results-based management (RBM) approach to development assistance projects is making management processes more cost-effective and is resulting in more positive impacts on the target groups. This account of RBM experience is based on the CIDA-funded Pastoralists Development Project (PDP) in northern? Kenya. The case study will be of particular interest to individuals and organizations who manage development assistance programs. The approach brings forward information on the effectiveness of interventions and impacts on the beneficiaries. It has given field implementation teams information an where they should focus their efforts to improve the effectiveness of their activities. It has also allowed decisions on implementation to be delegated to the field teams.
