摘要
A sociological study was undertaken between 2018 and 2019 to identify the vocational and career orientations of the students of secondary vocational schools. The study revealed that under the influence of liberal market reforms and the spreading mentality of mass consumption society, the national basic core has been transformed. The labor, as a basic value, is not a priority for the majority of young people, which poses a threat of destruction of the Russian civilization and the loss of Russian national identity by the growing generation. Proposals have been made to improve the situation in the field of youth social policy.
