Play with constructions to improve the learning of mathematics in the early childhood: A proposal for children from 2 to 3 years

Project based on 2 to 3 years old children, put into practice and based on the mathematic child thought. The construction game is implemented as a fundamental element for mathematical learning in early childhood. Avoiding the study of the abstract mathematics and experimenting with the things that surrounds the kid in a concrete way. The Preschool curriculum is reviewed, focusing on the importance of the game and the different options for teaching mathematics in the first cycle. The approach is based on 6 sessions, where children will be able to develop their mathematical skills helped with sources such as music, literature, art and the knowledge of the environment. The individual characteristics of the kids are considered with the purpose of contributing to their individual development. The free play is used as a way to the significant learning.
