摘要
PI new Syzygospora species from Taiwan, S. nivalis, is described. It seems to be closely related to S. alba Martin which was redescribed and illustrated recently. Both are mycoparasites with zygoconidia and gyrose, whitish, gelatinous basidiocarps. Syzygospora nivalis is distinct, however, in having clavate probasidia, smaller conidiogenous cells, and swollen hyphae. No basidiocarps of host fungi were found with S. alba.
