Construction and Application of College English Innovative Teaching Mode in Network Environment

For the last few decades, constructivism learning and teaching theory has gradually become the educational thought and teaching principle of the new period as well as the theoretical foundation of foreign language teaching innovation. The rapid development of Computer Network Technology (CNT) has paved the way for the application of constructivism in second language teaching and learning. Based on the theory of constructivism, combined with multimedia network technology and the authors' teaching practice, this paper presents a new teaching mode-the computer- and classroom-based multimedia College English teaching mode, with the aim of better guiding the progress of teaching reform and developing students' ability to use English in an all-round way.
