摘要
Brightness stability was evaluated in oxygen-delignified eucalyptus kraft pulps, fully bleached (90-90.5% ISO) by the sequences (DC) (PO)DD, (DC)(PO)DP D(PO)DD, D(PO)DP D-HT(PO)DD, D-HT(PO)DP, A(HT)/D(PO)DD and A(HT)/D(PO)DP by running heat-reversion tests with 20 repetitions for each sequence. A final P stage improved brightness stability. Some reducing groups present in the fully bleached pulps are likely the major cause of reversion. Pulp bleached with the sequence (DC)(PO)DD had low brightness stability despite containing only trace amounts of hexenuronic acids and lignin. Hot acid/hot chlorine dioxide stages improved pulp brightness stability, but only in sequences without a final P stage. The reversion profile across the bleaching sequences showed a trend toward increased pulp brightness stability after alkaline stages and decreased brightness stability after acid stages.
